Ripley began her wrestling career at a young age, starting with training at the age of 16 at the Riot City Wrestling Academy in Adelaide, South Australia. She made her professional wrestling debut in 2013 and quickly gained recognition for her unique look and powerful in-ring style. In 2017, Ripley signed with WWE and was assigned to their developmental brand, NXT. She quickly made a name for herself in NXT, becoming the NXT UK Women's Champion in 2018 and holding the title for a record-breaking 139 days.
